Ethel Eleanor McCarthy

McCARTHY, Ethel went to heaven to meet her Lord and Savior on June 19th 2016. She was born in South Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut with her husband Reverend Marvin T. McCarthy. In 2008, they retired in Brooksville, Florida. She was pre-deceased by her father and mother Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kaupp and her brother Raymond Kaupp. She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Kaupp Jr. and her five children Debra Miller and her spouse Mark Miller, Mick McCarthy and his Spouse Nancie McCarthy, Kenneth McCarthy, Dave McCarthy and his spouse Peggy McCarthy, and Beth-Anne Collins and her spouse Jonathan Collins, her nine grandchildren Mickey McCarthy and his spouse Kim McCarthy, Mark Miller and his spouse Sara Miller, Jill Bodnar and her spouse Jeff Bodnar, Kenneth Pisano, Nicole Pisano, David Pisano, Annamaria McCarthy, Katie Miller, and Jonathan Collins and her seven great grandchildren Alvin, Rori, Lilyanna, Camryn, Luke, Tyler, Brooklyn, and her niece Amanda Blakie. Ethel along with her husband of 61 years were the founders and directors of Simons-House, a Christian home for women for 17 years. She was also a great help to her husband as he pastored a church in New Haven, Connecticut. She was an inspiration to many, well loved, respected and admired by anyone who knew her. Memorial services will be held on July 9th, 2016 at 11am at Praise Family Worship Center, 17920 Meridian Blvd. Hudson, Florida and on July 16th, 2016 at 10am at New Life Church on 28 Hedgehog Rd. Trumbull, Connecticut.
