Praying for comfort, strength & peace for the entire family and beloved friends of Uncle Bill during this time.I have many fond memories of Uncle Bill!  One of my favorites was on a family trip to their home in Florida.  We had so much fun as kids just riding around the property on 4 wheelers and spending time with Uncle Bill & Aunt Nell, we didnt want to leave!  I remember always looking forward to his visits to Texas and being met with the biggest, most comforting, and welcoming HUGS ever!! It was always like every care in the world would leave because he could hug them right out of you!! Plus his sense of humor, he always had some witty jokes to tell. When we were growing up, the news that Uncle Bill was coming to town sent us into orbit! He was a larger-than-life personality that brought fun and excitement everywhere he went.  He always made me feel special and loved.  Uncle Bill and Aunt Nell invited us to spend a portion of our summers at their home.  I cherish those times.  They made sure we had many fun adventures. Patrick as a child I remember Uncle Bill at family gatherings which we were at back in 75 when I drove into a foot and a half of water and Uncle Bill pulled my butt out and took me to the hospital my mother Pam and Johnny were there when it happened and after that as a teenager trying to readjust every time I was around Uncle Bill it reminded me of that day and I couldn't be around him it hurt too much later on in life found out that Uncle Bill had to go out on his own food I can't even imagine that happened to go out and hunt for my own food he was also a veteran and when he came back from serving our country became a builder I love him very much she will be missed by so many people family friends he's with Aunt Nell now with all my love Patrick

You will be forever missed Uncle Bill. I am sure you are making some great BBQ up in heaven right now while Aunt Nell is baking her pies! Our heartfelt condolences to the Byrd and Zacco families. We loved Bill Sr. and his joy for life. Were reminded of the time Bill Jr. and Sr. were having dinner with us and he said,Boys, dont eat the garlic bread! It was too funny, but he made up for it by commenting on the dessert as top notch. We love and miss him and he will always be remembered in our hearts. We can honestly say, HE WAS A GOOD MAN!️️️️

Since I was 18 yrs old I was blessed to have Bill as my brother. He always treated me with love and respect. Our families went on many trips together. One of those I remember to Paragould. Bill & Nathan went out in the pick-up truck to do a little hunting ( even though it was not hunting season) . When they realized they were being followed by the Game Warden. They threw out their rifles and took off. Thankful not to be caught and were able to go back and find their guns. And of course , while we were there , we had to eat catfish breakfast, lunch and dinner. After over sixty years Bill will be truly missed by me.

Do you know how to our heartfelt condolences to the Byrd and Zach all families. We loved Bill Senior and enjoyed his joy for life. I love hearing Caleb sing "his and Uncle Bill's song, There stands the glass" and doing his arm motion and saying "yeah baby!" Uncle Bill has left us all with such great memories. From the huge Thanksgiving 's, Christmas's, Ski Trips, and barbeques. He was so much fun and had the biggest heart. Some of my best memories are with Uncle Bill and Aunt Nell. It gives me such great comfort to know they are finally together again

Uncle Bill you will be missed by so many, you always had a huge heart, you made everyone feel loved. RIP ....

I will always remember Mr. Bill as a caring man who loved his family. One of the most special memories I have of him is when he would visit with Mrs. Nell, seeing how he would pick out her clothes for her every day. It was such a pleasure to look after him, especially knowing how much he loved and savored the breakfasts that I would make him. He will always be in my heart,Estella.

When I think of Uncle Bill, I think of a man who loved BIG!!!  I've heard it said that people forget how much money we made, the clothes we wore, or the things we accumulated....but we never forget how someone made us feel.  My head knows Uncle Bill had many favorites and so many he loved dearly.  Yet, when I was in his presence, he made me feel like I meant the world to him.  He and Aunt Nell both had that very special gift.  He, along with so many other loved ones, have had to wrestle with the sufferings of this earthly world, but he has entered the world of the divine and he is HOME, never to suffer again.  I am so thankful that God's gift of His Son, overrides death and anything else that this chaotic world can throw at us.  The Bible says he "sleeps".  We never have to say good-bye, just "until then".  I love my Uncle  Bill and his precious family.  I will not say good bye, but I will see you in the morning!  Love always and forever!

I love Mr Bill ,I remember him as a strict man,but kind and honest, always willing to teach us the tricks of the trade. I pray that he is in heaven and that some day we will meet again.

My name is Shane Zacco and Floyd Byrd was my grandfather! He was like a second father to me, and he was at everything - baseball, soccer, golf tournaments to name a few! There was absolutely nobody that could ever replace my grandpa!! Papa I love you more than life and you were the strongest person I know!! I know you and nana are up there together and living the best life now walking down streets of gold! Thank you for everything you did for me and my family, I love you so much papa!!

Sadly I didnt know you very well, Ive heard you called Bill, Papa Bill, and Daddy. One thing I do know is that you raised two amazing children. A son that your daughter loves very much and a daughter that I am honored to call my friend. Every time I heard Pam call you and say Hi Daddy , I could hear the love in her voice. You will be missed by all and loved forever

I havent been in the family all that long, but Bill and Nell was part of my family as soon as I met them. We loved to go and do things with them. We loved them and will miss them dearly. Love & Prayers of Comfort for our dear cousins Pam & Billy & their families️ as we all go through our journeys of grief.Uncle Bill left so many footprints of love & kindness all through his life, we can clearly see the trail he left behind. I have my own memories of my Uncle Bill and how he strived to make sure everyone around him was having fun and enjoying life as much as he was! The memories my Mom has shared with me throughout my life paint a more vivid picture and I am so grateful to share in her memories, her true life experiences with Uncle Bill & Aunt Nell. Billy Bill and I were fishing once. I didnt feel good so I asked him to drop me off on the beach. When they pick me up I asked him if he caught anything, he said no you didnt miss anything. Then he asked me to get a drink out of the cooler for him. When I opened the cooler I see six big snook. He said I caught your limit.

With tearful eyes and His grace I go through many thoughts & the memories of a truly great Brother in Law. Raymond & I had so much fun together with Bill & Nell. Raymond & Bill had the same adventurous spirit. Some memories will always stay in the forefront. The ones where you personally know what a good soul he was.He was always so well dressed and made sure Raymond was too!  He said Raymond you need to get out of those jeans and wear these Sans a Belt slacks Funny thing Bill wore those same dressy clothes & shoes to hang with his hunting dogs & Raymond ended same thing pickin blackberries. They were so much alike, giving anyone the shirt off their back & both Selfless! Bill will forever be missed and his & Raymonds memories are connected in so many ways in my heart. I love you all and pray for Gods comfort to surround our family. 

I am so Proud to have been able to call u my Daddy for all these years. All you ever showed me was your unconditional love. I love you, Your daughter ️
