
GREENE, Francis Vernon, 85, of Spring Hill, Florida, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born September 27, 1932 in Buffalo, New York and came to this area 21 years ago from West Seneca, New York. He was a United States Army Veteran who served in the Korean War. He was a switchman for Bell South Telephone Company, part of the Telephone Pioneers and a parishioner of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years: Adele; sons and daughters-in-law: Stephen & Suzana Greene of St. Claire Shores, Michigan, Gary Greene of Gainesville, Florida, John & Karen Greene of Hamburg, New York and Francis Gruen of Midland, Michigan; brother and sister-in-law: Richard & Ann Greene of California; sisters & brothers in law: Rose & Rudy Rigo of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Carol & Chuck Reynolds of Old Town, Florida; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild, with one on the way.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Florida National Cemetery with military honors.
