

RYCZEK, Francis A. “Frank”, 79, died peacefully Feb. 1, 2012 at his home in Brooksville, Florida. Born in Woodside, PA, he was predeceased in death by his parents: Vincent and Mary Grzywa Ryczek; brothers: William, Felix (Fanny), John and Thomas Ryczek, all of Fayette County, PA; Henry of Kent, OH; and sisters: Natalie Minto and Sophia Hovan, both of Fayette County, PA. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years: Elaine Dorcas (Bunny); sons: Vincent (LouAnn) of Mt. Pleasant, TX; Barry (Kim) of Spring Hill; daughters: Dyane (Bill) Maxey of Brooksville; Janna (Lawton) Wagner of Weeki Wachee; twelve grandchildren: Michelle (Mathew) Maxey-Reinecke of Wesley Chapel; Dawn (Dustin) Ryczek of Hitchcock, TX; Lynda (Dave) Maxey Curzio; Steven (Candi) Maxey; Jared (Tabby) Wagner of Brooksville; Joshua (Michele) Ryczek; Ashley (Brady) Ryczek Price; Megan Ryczek and Harrison Ryczek of Spring Hill; Bari-anne Ryczek and Ryan (Elizabeth) Ryczek of St. Petersburg; Chase Wagner of Weeki Wachee; his sisters: Genevieve (John) Zavage of Waynesburg, PA; Helen (Gus) Gerard of Uniontown, PA; Margaret (Ralph) Angelini of Jefferson, PA; Frank is also survived by many extended family members in Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Oklahoma, New York, Maryland and Georgia. Frank was loved and cherished by his entire family. His biggest joy in life was the time he spent on his small farm with his cows. He was an avid hunter and loved to play Bingo. He served as Military Air Police in the US Air Force from 1951-1954, and continued his military service in the US Army Reserves, 231st, where he was a navigation instructor from 1955-1961. Frank retired from Florida Power Corp (Progress Energy) in 1989 after 35 years dedicated service as a lineman, working foreman and trouble-man. A celebration of Frank’s life will be held at the Ryczek farm on Lake Lindsey Road, Brooksville on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at noon. All family and friends please bring your memories and stories to share. Inurnment at the Florida National Cemetery will be private.
