DOUGHERTY, Frank J., age 100, died Friday October 9, 2015 at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania and came to the area 31 years ago from Maple Shade, NJ. He was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Philadelphia, PA. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by wife: Evelyn Dougherty of Brooksville, FL; sons: James of Dallas, NC; Frank, Jr., of Maple Shade, NJ; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:00 am, Thursday, October 15, 2015 at St. Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am with Father Paul Pecchie celebrant. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
