He was born May 29, 1941 in Carbondale, Illinois and came to Floral City 20 years ago from Indiana. He was a Glazier by trade and a member of the Masonic Lake Lodge #157 F & AM, Crown Point, Indiana. He was Baptist by faith.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Yancey; son, Todd Yancey of Lowell, Indiana; daughters, Kristen Shuttz of Crown Point, Indiana and Vicki Horsley of Three Rivers, Michigan; brothers, Jesse Yancey of Brooksville, Florida, Rich Yancey of Crown Point, Indiana and Ron Yancey of Floral City, Florida; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
