He was born on January 13, 1944 in Richmond, New York, to Frederick Eagle Jr. and Elizabeth Eagle.
Fred was self employed as an auto parts distributor, a path that reflected steady determination, practical know-how, and the kind of reliability that others came to count on.
Those who knew Fred will remember the ways he found meaning in simple, well-lived days: fishing and hunting, the quiet satisfaction of garage sales, and the hands-on work of fixing up houses. He especially valued spending time with family, and he carried his personal style with ease—often in western shirts—alongside interests that were distinctly his own.
Fred is preceded in death by his father, Frederick Eagle Jr.; his mother, Elizabeth Eagle; his cousin, Maryellen Myers; and his daughter-in-law, Tina Eagle. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Marie Eagle; his three children, daughter, Jacqueline Buchner; son, William Eagle; daughter and her husband, Kathleen and David Brown; his grandchildren, Patrick Traefald (married to Kelly Traefeld), Kayla Brown, Kevin Butler (married to Brittany Butler), Clinton Eagle (married to Birgitta Eagle), Autumn Brown, and Faith Brown; and his great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Traefald, Owen Eagle, Sadie Eagle, and Eleanor Butler.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the cancer association of your choice in Fred's honor. A celebration of life will occur at a later date that is to be announced.
