Frederick was born on September 4, 1943 in Racine, Wisconsin to William and Charlotte Walden. The family moved shortly after his birth to Seffner, Florida where he grew up with siblings Billy, Karen, and Kenneth. He graduated from Our Lady Of Perpetual Help High School and joined the Navy serving as a submariner on the USS Tirante SS-420. After he left the Navy, he became a master plumber and owned and operated Fred Walden Plumbing as a commercial contractor for over 50 years. Fred had a reputation for fairness and quality work.
Fred loved fast cars, fast boats, fast motorcycles, and having fun with friends. On the outside, he was a tough guy but inside, he was a loyal friend, an animal lover, and kept extra money in his truck to give to anyone in need. No matter the time or place, Fred had a knack for appearing within minutes when help was needed most.
On April 6, 1991, he married Denise Walden who remained by his side and lovingly cared for him until the time of his passing. He is survived by his daughters, Margo Lopez and Genelle Walden; his grandchildren, Kennedy Kruger, Eli Lopez, Ean Lopez, Arianna Walden, and Camryn Lopez; his sister, Karen Perkovich.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The date and time for a celebration of life will be announced in the near future.
