Born January 17, 1948 in Cumberland, Maryland, he came to this area five years ago from West Virginia. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War veteran and later became a railroad conductor. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Myers; and his daughter, Christine Myers of Rochester, New York.
