PENROD, Gerald D., age 88 of Spring Hill passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at Oak Hill Hospital. Born in Jackson County, IL he came to this area in 2008 from Mt. Vernon, IL. He was a hotel manager, U.S. Army WWII Veteran and life member of the VFW and American Legion. Survivors include his wife: Julie; daughters: Holly Reynolds-Gomez of Lake Mary, FL and Mandy Reynolds of Mt. Vernon, IL; brother: Clifton Penrod of Murphysboro, IL and grandchild: Kyah Gomez.
