MALDONADO, Gilbert J., Sr., age 81 of Spring Hill passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Melch Hospice House in Temple Terrace. Born in New York City, NY he came to this area in 1998 from Staten Island, NY. He was a Latin Musician in the Entertainment Industry, a U.S. Navy Veteran and member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. He was predeceased by his wife: Marie. Survivors include his sons: David of Coral Springs, FL and Gilbert, Jr. of Margate, FL; brothers: Carlito, Willie & Adolf, all of NY; sisters: Lucy Maldonado-Lobo of NY and Teresa Maldonado of Port St. Lucie, FL; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
