
GRAVES, Harry J., Jr., age 88 of Spring Hill died Sunday, March 13, 2011 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. Born June 3, 1922 to Pearl and Harry O. Graves, he graduated from Wellsville High School and attended the State University of New York at Alfred, NY. He was World War II Veteran and served as a First Lieutenant in the Air Force and was Prisoner of War in Germany. As an entrepreneur, he was the owner of three automobile dealerships, a partner in several oil leasing companies in NY, OK and KS and a local Wellsville Housing Development. Mr. Graves was also a member of the American Legion, Vets, Elks & Lion Clubs, Automobile Assoc., past President of Wellsville Country Club, 9 year chairman of the College Council for Alfred State College, a charter member of the Willing Volunteer Hose Co. and founder of Stannards Cool Water System. Survivors include is wife of 64 years: Marguerite DeBarbieri Graves; daughter: Brenda (Robert) Borne; son: Gregory (Kelli) Graves; brother-in-law: George (Jeanette) DeBarbieri; 5 grandchildren: Ann, Mark, Kevin, Amanda and Bayley; 7 great grandchildren: William, James, Trey, Christopher, Jordan, Hannah and Madison and nieces: Susan and Patricia. Burial will take place at a later date at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
