HORNE, Harry E., JR., age 85 of Spring Hill passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. Born in Frostproof, FL he came to this area 23 years ago from Hackettstown, NJ. He was a welder and worked at Hercules Powder Company for 23 years and Westinghouse Electric Company for 16 years. He served during WW II as a Naval Armed Guard aboard a merchant vessel and was a US Army Korean Conflict Veteran. Harry was an avid reader, historian & outdoorsman and was very good with his hands and did a lot of woodworking. He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Lucy Horne and sons & daughters-in-law: Harry Eugene & Robin Horne, III of VA, Patrick Raiola of VA, John Donahue of PA and James & Elisa Donahue of NJ. Services at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL will be held at a later date.
