Harry Lee Winters, Sr.

WINTERS, Harry Lee, Sr., age 93 of Spring Hill, Florida died Monday, December 4, 2017 at his home.  Born in Chapman, Kansas, he moved to Florida 38 years ago from Fairfax, Virginia.  He was a retired electronic engineer for the Central Intelligence Agency, WWII U. S. Army Veteran and was a member of Faith Christian Worship Center.  Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Vallie; sons & daughter-in-law:  Harry Lee, Jr. & Helen Winters of Jacksonville, Florida and Kenn Winters of Spring Hill, Florida; daughters & son-in-laws:  Donna Thompson of Spring Hill, Florida and Susan & Danny Dodd of Lakeland, Florida; brother:  Horace Winters; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.  Visitation for friends will be 5 – 7pm, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel, where services will be conducted 11:00am, Friday, December 8, 2017 with Pastor Barry Brant of Faith Christian Worship Center officiating.  Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HPH Hospice.
