He was born in St. Helena Village, Trinidad and moved to the United States with his family 4 decades ago. Jack was a man of many jobs, but found his passion in the aeronautical industry, working his way up from aircraft mechanic to Director of Civil Aviation for all of the Caribbean. He was also a faithful and dedicated employee of USPS.
Jack would do anything to help his family and stressed values, such as the importance of a higher education and how each day should be used as an opportunity to better yourself. Karaoke was his favorite hobby and he relished a chance to sing at family gatherings. He performed out of love and always ended each session with "My Way" by Frank Sinatra. He showed great courage in his relentless fight against cancer and was able to afford us 6 more years with him. We are truly grateful Dad, for everything. Not a day went by when he was not loved tremendously by his wife and children who will keep him forever in their hearts and thoughts.
He is survived by his wife: Ramragie Boodram of Brooksville, FL; daughters and sons-in-law: Bhamini “Bea” and Cameron Clarke of Brooksville, FL; Natalie and Tawaheer Adam of Land O’ Lakes, FL; son and daughter-in-law: Valmiki and Shasha Boodram of St. Cloud, FL; grandchildren: Rajendra, Reanna, Trinity, Aliah, Amyn, Ava, Olivia, Sophia, James, Matthew and two great-grandchildren: Elaina and Athena; sisters: Sumarie Boodram and Dassie Ward and brother: Khemraj Boodram.
And now the end is here
And so I face that final curtain
My friend I'll make it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more
I did it, I did it my way
-Frank Sinatra, “My Way”
