James Leonard Abney

ABNEY, James L., age 69 of Brooksville died Monday, December 12, 2011 at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in Montgomery, AL and was the owner/operator of a plant retail business. He is predeceased by his parents: Leonard R. & Louise Cox Abney. Survivors include his sons & daughter-in-law: Daniel T. & Louise Abney of Berea, KY, Timothy J. Abney of Brooksville, FL; stepson and his wife: Tony W. & Mary Isaacs of Orlando; daughter & son-in-law: Deborah S. & Scot Dennis of Berea, KY; stepdaughter: Tonya K. Isaacs of Spring Hill; brother-in-law: Dennis Lake of Spring Hill; sisters-in-law: Pauline Hise & Patsy Anderson, both of Spring Hill and Wanda Orange of TN; 7 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter and nephew: Billy Bowling of Spring Hill; special care giver and friend: Nancy Abney Sykes of Spring Hill; special friends: Bobby Pipkins, Lacy Ballard and Richard & Teresa Pearson. Jimmy will not suffer again. He is forever with our Lord. He was a hard working giving person, loved by family and many friends and will be greatly missed.
