He was born November 9, 1932 in Shaw, Mississippi and came to Spring Hill 70 years ago from Dayton, Ohio. He was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War and was an electrician.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Zella. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law: David Herman of Dexter, Georgia and Dennis & Laura Lee Herman of Florida; daughter and son-in-law: Debra & Joe Metcalf of Palmetto, Florida; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
