MACDONALD, James G., age 94 of Weeki Wachee, Florida, died Friday, February 17, 2017 at his home. Born in Boston, Massachusetts he came here 16 years ago from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He was a WWII U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, member of the Marine Corps Detachment League #708 of Spring Hill, FL and St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife: Loretta; daughters: Patricia Proia of Spring Hill, Florida and Ellen Jayne Schmickel of Phoenix, Arizona; sister: Mary Tabor of Tacoma, Washington; 3 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Marie LaFrance.
