Janet Morey Story

She was born August 5, 1946 in Escanaba, Michigan and came to Brooksville 50 years ago.  Janet was a former parishioner of St. Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church and later in life became more spiritual.  She was a teacher for Pasco County Schools, a member of the Brooksville Women’s Club, Garden Club, Red Hat Society and volunteered at Crescent Community Clinic in Spring Hill.  She loved teaching and giving back to her community.

She is survived by her son, John L. Story of Brooksville, Florida; sisters, Sharon Brown of Detroit, Michigan and Sheila Carlson of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; sister-in-law, Kathy Morey of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00-2:00pm, Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where Funeral Services will begin at 2:00pm.
