Janice Lee Gilliam, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 75. Born to Earnie James and Gertrude Adkins Gilliam on February 22, 1948 in Troy, OH.
Janice enjoyed most of her life in KY. She loved antiquing and spending afternoons driving through the countryside. Recently, she moved to Florida to enjoy the sun with her children. Janice is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Bailey, son, James Whitaker (Lori), grandson, Caleb Whitaker, great-grandson, Logan Whitaker, sister, Garnette Walker, nephew, Mathew Walker (Sara), and niece, Whitney Walker.
Janice will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She suffered from many health issues, but still smiled every day and enjoyed the little things in life. May she rest in eternal peace.
In accordance with her wishes, Janice will be cremated. There will be a private graveside service at the Adkins family cemetery in Sandy Hook, KY.
