Jason was a lifelong resident of Brooksville and proud to be part of “The Crums” of Brooksville. He was a devoted husband and lived life to the fullest with his wife Jennifer. Jason was also an incredible father to his two daughters and stepdaughter. He adored his girls, and his girls absolutely loved him. They knew Jason would always be there for them to help in any way he could.
Jason co-owned a tree service business with his lifelong best friend (John Theodore). They were a well-known pair in Brooksville and were always having a good time. Some of his hobbies were hunting, fishing, gigging and air boating. He was vice president of the Citrus County Airboat Alliance.
Some people walk through life quietly, but others-like him- leave a mark so bright it’s impossible to forget. He was the kind of person who made everyone feel like a friend: generous with his time, steady with his kindness, and always ready to lend a hand without being asked. He was also the man that had your back and would stand up for you if anyone tried to cross you. They say only the good die young, and his life is a heartbreaking reminder of that truth. He lived with a goodness that was effortless, a heart that was open, and a spirit that lifted everyone around him. His absence is felt in every corner he once touched, but so is his legacy- kindness, warmth, and the simple powerful way he made people feel seen and supported. May his memory be a blessing, and may we honor him by carrying forward the goodness he gave so freely.
Jason is survived by his wife, Jennifer Willis; his mother, Claudia Willis; daughters and sons-in-law, McKenzie & Joel Singer and Savannah & Johnny Stringer; stepdaughter, Emilee Santucci; grandsons, Kason Singer and Theodore Stringer; Sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha Ann & Marcus Zopf, Dana & Jeff Crosby, and Tracy Young; nephews, Ben Mitchell (Ashley), Jared Young (Toni), and Russell Weems (Courtney).
