

He was born February 4, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York to William and Mary (Bryant) Hardman. Jeffery served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked as a police officer for the New York Transit Authority for twenty years before retiring. Jeffrey relocated to Florida in 2003 from Brooklyn, New York. He spent his free time and retirement serving his communities by participating and volunteering his time: Crimewatch in Regency Oaks, Spring Hill Stroke Support Group, U.S. 19 Salvation Army Store, and Elks Lodge in Spring Hill. Jeffrey lived to serve and protect his community and will be dearly missed.
Jeffrey was preceded by his father: William Hardman; mother: Mary Hardman; brother: Michael Hardman; sisters: Revelry Hardman; and Nolla Hardman. Survivors include his brother: Arnie Hardman, of Pennsylvania; sister: Lois Noble, of Pennsylvania, and close personal friends Lorraine & Luigi Berinato, of Spring Hill, Florida.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery.
