Jerome Leader

Born June 18, 1957 in Chicago Heights, Illinois, and came to Spring Hill three years ago from The Villages, Florida and prior to that was residing in Indiana.   He was an operating engineer of heavy equipment, a member of Local 150, a huge supporter of “The Gift of Life” in Chicago, Illinois, and of “Life Link” here in Florida.  He was Catholic by faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Mary Leader; and his brother, Joseph Leader.  He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Marita A. Leader; daughter and son-in-law, Erin & Eric Hanson of Port Richey, Florida; brothers and sister-in-law, John & June Leader of Indiana and Jim Leader of Illinois; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy & Chuck Boundonna of Indiana; brothers-in-law, Michael Thomas (Colleen) of Michigan and Richard Thomas (Rae Ellen) of Illinois; grandson, Jude Hanson; and many nieces and nephews.
