GRIFFIN, Joan G., age 76 of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of Schaumburg, IL died Monday, January 17, 2011 at her home. Born in Chicago she moved to Florida 29 years ago, coming to this area 17 years ago from Hudson, FL. She was an office manager for McCrory’s and member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband: William; sons & daughter-in-law: Duane and Sheryl Kneidek and William Roy Griffin; daughters & sons-in-law: Jo-Ellen and Robert Kiddie, Diane and Larry Mitchell and Karen Dicks and 8 grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 11am – 2pm Friday, January 21, 2011 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where a funeral service will be conducted at 2pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leukemia / Lymphoma Society.
