LENTINI, Joan M., age 74 of Hernando Beach, FL died Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center of Brooksville, FL. Born in Boston, MA she came here 18 years ago from Tallmadge, Ohio. She was Hernando County's only professional vexillographer (flag maker), owner of Fun Flags and a prominent fixture in Hernando Beach, both politically and with civic organizations. She was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill, FL.Survivors include her Sons & Daughters-in-law: John J. & Judy of Marietta, GA, Jeffrey J.A. of Virginia Beach, VA, Jerome F. & Mari of Auroroa, CO and Justin A. & Jennifer of Spring Hill, FL; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Jorie & Ernie Kinnard of Cumming, GA, Judit A. & Steven Combs of Conway, MO and Janice E. Lentini of Denver, CO; Brother: John L. Woods, Jr. of Hull, MA; Sisters & Brother-in-law: Kathleen Conway of Hartford, CT and Rosemary & John Sullivan of Scituate, MA; 15 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. and sons, Joseph T. & James A. Lentini.Visitation for friends will be 2 - 6pm, Sun., Dec. 19, 2004 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where a wake service will begin at 3:00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2:00pm, Mon., Dec. 20, 2004 at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill, FL with Father Andy Beaudoin officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date, next to her husband, Joseph at the Florida National Cemetery.
