She was born October 9, 1933 in Gowanda, New York and came to this area 46 years ago from Jamestown, New York. She was a homemaker and owner of Sonkist Kennels.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester & Lillian Buskist; her husband of 61 years, William C. Mason; sons-in-law, Tommy Malicoate & John Aldridge; and a granddaughter. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Craig & Debra Mason of Clearwater, Florida and Kelly & Dawn Mason of Homosassa, Florida; daughters: Kim Malicoate of Brooksville, Florida and Cybill Aldridge of Live Oak, Florida; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
