John Boros, Jr.

BOROS, John, Jr., age 90 of Timber Pines, Spring Hill died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Windsor Woods in Hudson. Born in Divernon, IL he came to this area 29 years ago from East Lansing, MI. He was a clerk for General Motors, U.S. Coast Guard Veteran, an avid golfer and member of Northcliffe Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 65 years: Helen; daughters: Bonita Kearns of Tucson, AZ, Dr. Becky Boros of Orland Park, IL & Elizabeth Ann Hardenbrook of Gainesville; brother: Jeno Boros of Pt. Charlotte, FL; 4 grandchildren: Justin Kearns and Brent, Courtney & Travis Hardenbrook and 2 great grandchildren: Joshua & Abby. Visitation for friends will be 5-8pm Monday, May 23, 2011 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where a funeral service will take place at 6pm. Interment with Military Honors will be conducted 11am Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Florida National  Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
