He was born May 2, 1953 in Sacramento, California and was a lifelong resident of Brooksville, Florida. He was a crane operator in the mining industry and a member of the NRA.
He is survived by his brothers, Tim Crum of Foresthill, California, Creighton Crum of Ventura, California and Larry Crum of Guerneville, California.
