John D. Davis

DAVIS, John D., age 72 of Cloverleaf, Brooksville, died Thursday, November 19, 2015.  Born in Guntersville, Alabama he came here 8 years ago from Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator for National Wire, U.S. Army Veteran and of the Baptist faith.  Survivors include his soul mate and companion, Joann Fernstrom; sons:  Randy Davis, Sr. and Rodney Davis both of Spencer, Tennessee and Mark Davis of Tampa, Florida; daughters:  Kristina Presley of Cookeville, Tennessee and Patti Davis of Michigan; brother:  Jay Nowlan Davis of Ellijay, Georgia; sisters:  Ruby Burns of Crossville, Alabama and Launa Williams of Athens, Georgia; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Elizabeth and sister, Nita Sampson.  Burial with military honors will be 10:30am, Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Florida National Cemetery.
