GILLIS, John Randal, Sr., age 79 of Brookridge, Brooksville died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at his home. He was born in Sarasota, FL where he lived most of his life until moving to this area in 2004. He was Vice President of Rusty Plumbing in Sarasota, was a 32nd degree Mason and member of Northcliffe Baptist Church. He was a simple man who lived for God and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 34 years: Myrle; children and step children: John Arthur Campbell of Ocala, John Randal Gilles of Springhill, LA, Scherrill Rowles of Seviertown, TN, Edee Payne of Watkinsville, GA and Stacey Gillis of Gainesville, FL plus many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be conducted 1:00pm Friday, March 4, 2011 at Northcliffe Baptist Church, Spring Hill. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
