He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, an avid golfer, loved to go fishing with his wife, Judith, he was an enthusiast of Corvettes and Camaros and shared an affection with his service dog, Cruise. Survivors include his wife: Judith; son: Chad Heil of Elk Grove, Illinois; daughters & son-in-law: Lindsay & Dan Tintera of Bartlett, Illinois and Lisa Willett of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Karrieem & Khaliyah Tintera.
