John A. Stotts, Sr.

He was born August 25, 1930 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and came to this area five years ago from Dover, Delaware.  He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and achieved the rank of Chief Master Sergeant.

He is survived by his wife: Dorothy Stotts; sons: John Stotts, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, Richard Stotts of Spring Hill, Florida and Jeff Stotts of Key West, Florida; brother: Joe Stotts; sisters: Marie Francis and Maryann Ritter, all of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren

A Visitation for family and friends will take place from 4:00-6:00pm, Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel, where Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, September 26,2018.  Interment will follow at 1:00pm at Florida National Cemetery, with military honors.
