Joseph Wayne Guin

GUIN, Joseph Wayne, age 87 of Brooksville, FL died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.  Born in Shannon, Mississippi, was a Army veteran of WWII  and retired from AT&T, formerly Southern Bell, as an installer.  Survivors include his wife:  Lois; sons & daughters-in-law:  Wayne & Betty Guin of Brooksville, FL, Kevin & Carri Guin and Michael & Kathy Guin all of Lakeland, FL; daughter & son-in-law:  Glenda & Doug Seeman of Brooksville, FL; sisters:  Lucille Youngblood of Madison, MS and Juanita Kipping of Memphis, TN; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  Visitation for friends will be 6 – 8pm, Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.  Funeral service will be conducted 2:00pm, Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Eden Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Lake Lindsey Cemetery with Reverend Damont Drake officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Florida Baptist Children's Home, 1015 Sikes Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33815.
