Judith "Judy" Ann Smaida

Judy will always be remembered for the love and dedication she had for her family, fiance, and friends.

She enjoyed music and dancing and loved to host parties. Judy also enjoyed watching movies and relaxing with her fiance at home.

We will miss her smile, laughter and the fun times she shared with everyone.

Judy is survived by her fiance, Leo Catanzaro; her son, Michael Smaida; and her daughter, Tina DiVarco; grandchildren, Vicki, Paulie, Andrew, Josh, Marc, Alyssa, and Michael Jr., as well as eight special great-grandchildren; her sister, Debbie Segreti and brother-in-law Fabio Segreti; and several loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.

She is preceded by her son, Paul Smaida Jr. and her mother, Nancy Leyva.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at The Living Room (362 S. Schmale Road, Carol Stream, IL). Doors open at 10:00am. The Celebration of Life service will begin promptly at 11:00am with a luncheon afterwards.
