Julie Ellen Peterson

Julie married the love of her life, James H. Peterson, on November 9, 1980. Together, they built a life filled with love, joy, and shared adventures. Julie was known for her vibrant personality and her many interests, including photography, music, cycling, pickleball and tennis, attending shows with friends, cooking, boating, traveling, and shopping.

Residing in Brooksville, Florida, Julie was a beloved member of her community. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James H. Peterson; her son, Tyler Peterson; daughters, Sarah Peterson Harmon and Holly Peterson VanTholen; and her grandchildren, Braden, Adalei, Marin, Arie, Caden, Aylie, and Claire.

A graveside service will be held at Brooksville Cemetery (1275 Olmes Road, Brooksville, FL 34601) on November 29, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Following the service, an after party will take place at Southern Hills Poolside - Sunnies (19850 Southern Hills Blvd, Brooksville, FL 34601) from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
