Justine H. Mahan

MAHAN, Justine H., 91, formerly of Brooksville, died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Suncoast Hospice Care Center North Pinellas. 

She was born in Pikeville, Kentucky and came to Brooksville in 1950 from Charleston, West Virginia.  She was a member of Mariner United Methodist Church, Eastern Star Brooksville #76, Brookridge Golf Club and the Ladies Association.  She retired, after 30 years of employment, from SunTrust Bank, formerly Hernando State Bank.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, T.E. Davis, and late husband, John C. Mahan. She is survived by her daughter, Glodyl Ray of Clearwater, Florida; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation for friends will be at 1:00pm, Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel where Funeral Services will begin at 2:00pm.  Pastor Anne Godbold will be officiating.  Inurnment will be at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens at a later date.
