Born August 23, 1948 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Sr. and Elizabeth (Lopley) Brown. She came to Brooksville 24 years ago with the love of her life and husband, Tom Barnes, to live on the farm of their dreams. She was a very loving, caring, kind, and nurturing person who always thought of others before herself. She was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom Barnes. She is survived by her daughters, Denita Brown and Elizabeth Neace of Indianapolis and her brothers, Carl Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana and Arthur Brown Jr. of Brooksville, Florida; and three grandchildren.
