
COLEMAN, Kathleen M. Segura, 80 years old, of Brooksville, FL, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2007 under the care of Hernando Pasco Hospice. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she was predeceased by her spouse of 62 years, Robert S. Coleman on January 12, 2007; parents: Lawrence & Almeda (Silva) Segura, brothers: Richard & Lawrence and sisters: Beatrice & Mary. Survivors include her daughter: Anita Louise Grabowski, son-in-law: Al, grandson: Joe all of Brooksville, FL; son: Robert (Bobbie) Coleman and daughter-in-law: Catherine; grandson: Sterling of Federal Way, WA; sisters: Mildred Silva of Provincetown, MA, Antoinette Donahue of Eastham, MA and several nieces, nephews, and caring friends. Kathleen was born in Provincetown, MA and graduated from Provincetown High School before marrying her husband Bob. They traveled the United States while Bob served active duty with the United States Air Force. She raised two children and was always supportive of their choices in life. Kathleen graduated from Burlington County College and served in a variety of work settings, most memories being those of Registrar at Helene Fuld School of Nursing in Trenton, NJ and as a substitute teacher for the Bordentown School District in NJ. Both she and her husband loved history, reading and the excitement of politics. Kathleen served as one of the original charter presidents of the Hillary Rodham Clinton Fan Club before the Clinton?s even went to the White House. Both she and Bob were thrilled when they were invited, along with the other club presidents to be guests of President & Hillary Clinton. Kathleen and her husband also served on the Senior Florida Legislature, participating in activities at the Florida State Capitol. Kathleen was a breast cancer survivor, her final illness the journey of Alzheimer?s dementia. Kathleen will have her final resting at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, DC with her husband Robert who was laid to rest on March 9, 2007 with full military honors. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family request any memorial contributions be made to the Hernando Pasco Hospice for their compassionate and loving care provided to Kathleen.
