Kenneth Owen Langworthy

He was born January 27, 1935 in Campus, West Virginia and came to Brooksville in 1948.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He owned and operated a gas station and repair shop in Brooksville where he met the love of his life, Peggy, 61 years ago.  He was a member of Eden Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Langworthy; his children, Cheryl Rogerson (Bruce) of Lebanon, Virginia, Robyn Ledington (Tim) of Greenville, Tennessee, Susie Holton (William) of Brooksville, Florida, and Ken Langworthy of Brooksville, Florida; brother, Jack Langworthy (Lounette) of Morriston, Florida; sisters, Shirley Burnette (Jim) of Brooksville, Florida, Mary Stewart of Greenville, Tennessee, and Yvonne Lanier (Jiggs) of Brooksville, Florida; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
