Leone Mel Pizzuto had a smile that would light up a room. Her buoyant personality and insatiable zest for life made her one of the most delightful people you would ever meet. Many a time, random people would come up to family members to comment on how delightful a person their mother was.
Leone had an unbounded curiosity about countless cultural, historical and geographical places and things. This, coupled with her desire to experience these things and to share the experiences with those she loved, led her to whisking her five boys (often to her husband’s chagrin-though we know deep down he appreciated it), across the United States and all over Europe. Leone’s knowledge and ability to recall all of the places and things she experienced and her ability to describe it with such passionate detail was unmatched. These qualities and the resulting value and the resulting value she added to the lives she touched is immeasurable.
She loved life and more than anything, she loved her family. Leone is now with her beloved mother, father and grandparents. In our hearts, she will be forever loved and missed. Leone is survived by her five sons:
William Patrick Pizzuto
Joseph Paul Pizzuto
Johntimothy Charles Pizzuto
David Thomas Pizzuto
James Robert Pizzuto
And her Grandson Daniel Pizzuto
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church , 5030 Mariner Boulevard, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
