Dear Julia, Tim and Joanna,Please accept our sincere condolences. Les's presence on this earth has touched so many people! I have so many fond memories of 'sewing circle' at the pub and Les being our host. I can still see him rolling his eyes when we got rowdy, but he put up with us! He will be missed, but we are so grateful to have known him.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the outpouring of sympathy, the kind acts of friends and strangers, as well as your memories give you comfort to help you endure the days ahead. The Bible also offers comfort. “For God is near to those broken at heart. “ Ps 34:17,18. Our Creator promises that there will soon be a time when “death will be no more.” Revelation 21:4.  I hope this brings you comfort.

I met Les many years ago when he came to north Georgia to buy land. I sold him a piece of property. We became very close friends. He would come back up here and stay with us often. I stayed with him on "Hurry Sundown" at Crystal River....diving with the Manatee and sailed with him to Captiva Island. What a great guy, gentleman, very intelligent and loyal friend. My heart felt sympathy to the family and many friends.

So very sorry for the loss of Les.  I first met him when I worked at BG&CC then while eating the wonderful sandwiches at the Red Mule.  He never failed to stop and say Hello and chat for a few minutes.  The entire community will feel the loss.

To the family of Les I want to send our condolence Ill never forget I was part time at Winn Dixie 1975 Les was working at First Florida Bank I made a cash deposit at night it was entered wrong Les believed me and found my money!!  1984 my first child was born les said my craving was the pastrami ruebin then again in 1993 the craving was a Red Mule pastrami ruebin that was our joke (are you pregnant) no just enjoying good food and good company I will miss that

I am Justine Selzer, the sister of Toni Demonbreun, a local Floral City resident. So sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. I and my friend, Shirley Dietrich, of Hollywood, Florida visited the Red Mule every time we visited in the area. I am sure he and Shirley discussed the Hollywood Police Department when we were in to enjoy your great food. God bless and comfort your family. Know that your loss will be shared by many.
