Born September 3, 1947 in Lansing, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Joyce (Shinaver) Schmidt. Linda graduated from Portland High School and went on to received a degree in cosmetology. Linda worked at Meijer for many years until she owned her own salon in Grand Ledge, Michigan.
Linda is survived by a large family, including her sons, Frank Blanchard III and Todd V. Blanchard; grandchildren, Brandon Myers, Todd V. Blanchard Jr., Dustin J. Blanchard, and Monique L. Blanchard; great-grandchildren, Rowen Blanchard, Leia Blanchard, and Ari Blanchard; sisters, Darla Milozewski, Susan Jolls, Penny Briones, and Gail Gullett; a special niece, Susan Leonard; and many more loving family members who will forever be grateful for the years they shared with her.
Cremation has taken place with a graveside service at a future time.
