Linda Jo West

WEST, Linda Jo, age 57 of Brooksville, FL died Sunday, August 22, 2010 at her home.  She was a lifelong resident of Brooksville and was Christian by faith.  She was a former secretary for Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.  She was a loving mother & sister and had acquired lifelong friendships in Brooksville, but her life revolved around her grandchildren.  She is survived by her daughter:  Michelle West (& Dustin Weitzell) of Brooksville, FL; son:  Ray West of Brooksville, FL; brother & sister-in-law:  Ken & Tonya Skinner of Fuquay Varina, NC; sisters & brothers-in-law:  Karen & Rick Hooser of Willow Springs, NC, Anita & Tim Hooser of Brooksville, FL; Beverly “Babs” & John Burrell of Ocala, FL, Cathy Adams of Live Oak, FL and Rosanne & Chuck Wall of St. Cloud, FL; grandchildren:  Karlie, Kristin & Geneva all of Brooksville, FL along with many other extended family members and friends, who will all miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ambrose Kendall "June" Skinner, Jr. and Geneva & Charles Bryant. A Memorial service will be held 11:00am Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.
