Louis Daniels

DANIELS, Louis, age 89 of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of Glen Spey, NY died Sunday, November 19, 2017 at HPH Hospice Care Center. He was born on April 15, 1928 in  Greenwich, Connecticut, the son of the late Joseph and Rose Daniels. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was also a Merchant Marine. Louis retired from Shop Rite in Montague, NJ where he was active in the Meat Cutters Union. In addition to his work, Lou served the town of Lumberland as a Town Board member, a position he loved as much as the community. He was predeceased by his siblings, Alec, James and Falsey. He is survived  by his loving  wife: Rosemary “Pepper”; daughter: Kelly Putz of Chalfont, PA; son and daughter-in-law: David and Robbin of Sea Isle, City, NJ; in addition Mr. Daniels is also survived by his grandsons: Mathew (Tiffany), Michael and Andrew and  3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to HPH Hospice.
