She worked in a golf pro shop as assistant manager and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary. Survivors include her husband: Thomas C. Smith; daughter: Nichole Ticich of South Jordan, Utah; brother: Marshall Buchanan of Pace, Florida.
