He was born September 26, 1942 in Gilbertsville, New York and came to Spring Hill 23 years ago. He served in the United States Army and was a teacher for many years in Hernando County. He was a member of the American Legion Post 692 in Greene, New York and the Spring Hill Garden Club.
He is survived by his son, Robert Lewis and his dear friend, Dorothy Wilson.
