Mary Phyllis Barbarite

On April 2, 2023 Mary Phyllis Barbarite passed away peacefully in her sleep after a few years of battling with Parkinson’s disease. Better known as Phyllis to most or Bunny to her longtime friends – She was predeceased by her husband Robert and her great grandson Asher. She is survived by 5 children Richard, Christa, Laura, Jennifer and Jessica , 7 Grandchildren-Arielle, Robbie, Domenick, Jovonna, Colby, Cristiano, Jaxon and 4 great grandchildren. Former dance studio owner, Phyllis danced her way into many hearts. Also known for her amazing cooking, she never fed a person who didn’t talk about her meals forever! When time allowed she spent her days tending to and nurturing her garden just like she nurtured her children & grandchildren. One of her favorite getaways was to spend time in the Georgia mountains. The rippling creek behind the house, peaceful sounds of nature along with the beautiful Hummingbirds fluttering, brought her much happiness and peace. We hope that same peacefulness is with her now and forever in eternity.

A service will be held Tuesday April 4th at 5pm
