RICH-SIMAITIS, Mary Elaine, age 79, of Brooksville, FL died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at HPH Hospice Care Center. She was born in Unity, Maine and came to the area 23 years ago from Maine. She was employed as a nurse's aide at Rockland Hospital in Maine and also worked in sales for Dexter Shoes and Dunkin Donuts. She was a member of the Republican Party in Hernando County and was involved with charity work. She is survived by step-son: Peter Norton; daughters: Debra Rich-Forsythe (Lynn) of Canton, OH; Colleen Elaine (Ed) Bailey of Kents Hill, ME; Step-daughter: Debra West; brothers: Reverend Richard A. Reynolds of Bangor, ME; Silas D. Reynolds of Freedom, ME; sister: Elsie L. Ladd of Freedom, ME; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
