
WILLIAMS, Melvin T., age 50 of Brooksville, FL died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Center. He was born in Niceville, FL and came to the area 42 years ago from Mt. Juliet, TN. He was owner of the Gingerbread House Day Care Center in Weeki Wachee, operated Red Barn Auction House in Brooksville, formerly employed at Miss Kitty?s Hilltop Lounge, owned and operated Granny?s Car Lot in Tampa and two bingo halls in Franklin, KY. He was a pastor at Church of New Life, a realtor associate of Seaside Realty and a member of Gulf Ridge Park Baptist Church.Survivors include his mother: Dorothy Williams of Mt. Juliet, TN; two daughters: Angela Williams of Spring Hill and Rita Williams of Cookville, TN; brother: Michael Williams of Spring Hill; three sisters: Marlene W. Fuller of Salisbury, NC, Maxine VanHorn of Farmington, NM, and Melody Merritt of Hernando Beach; 3 nephews: Jacob, LaVon, and Duane Merritt; and two grandchildren.Visitation for friends will be 6:00-8:00pm, Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Merritt Funeral Home Brooksville Chapel. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm, Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, Hermitage, TN.
