SCHAFFER, Michael Thomas, age 58 of New Port Richey, FL passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Born November 5, 1957 in Hollis, Queens, NY, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a talented mason and landscaper. Michael is now joined with his beloved father: Robert; beloved brother: Richard; his Aunts & Uncles; loves of his life (Marium & Cindy) and his dog Ranger. He is survived by his brothers: William, David and Robert; sister: Lu-Ann; brother-in-law: Jeffrey; sisters-in-law: Rosalie, Diane & Connie; 7 nephews, 5 nieces and 10 great nieces & nephews. A gathering of friends and family will take place 10-11am Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where a memorial service will be conducted at 11am with Pastor Todd Turner presiding. A 1:00pm graveside service will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
